I too am tracing a Fredrick Blume,as far as I can get he was born in leimberg Hannover in 1842 and arrived Australia as a stowaway on the SS Lord Raglan in 1862,he married Mary Cox and lived and died in Baarmuther Vic.I noticed the similarities to your Frederick.I cannot find anything in Germany and am interested in knowing more too,hope we can help each other out.
