It sounds like your George Blume and my John Blume from Barnwell District, SC may have been related. My Blumes lived near Blackville in a community called Walker Station which is approximately four miles north of Blackville. John married Sarah---. Their children, as listed in John's 1816 will, were: Darling (son), Philip, John, Jr., William, Sarah (my gggrandmother), Christiana (m. Robert Walker), Mary (Polly), Betsy.

Do any of these names sound familiar to you? I would love to share data with you.

Frank Trowbridge
