Anna C. Blume(b. 3/01/1861, Madison Co, IN; d. 2/18/1895, Basin, Jefferson Co. MT, buried Boulder Cemetery, Jefferson Co. MT.) and our gr gr uncle,David H Carley (b. 8/25/1855 Jefferson Co., IN; d. 8/15/1904 Basin, Jefferson Co., MT) married Feb 5,1883 in Buffalo, Wilson Co. KS. They had three daughters, Nora M, Sybil G, and Imogene N. The family lived mostly in the Boulder MT and Basin MT area, which is a bit southwest of Helena, MT. Dave worked in the mining industry in the late 1800s and early 1900s, until killed in a milling accident.
I have recently gained access and scanned photos from 2 photo albums which I believe came down from this family. There are no living descendants of this line.
Photos have studio markings from Boulder, Helena, Billings, Butte, Glendale and Anaconda MT; St Paul MN, Chicago IL, Chanute, Baxter Springs, Ft Scott, Yates Center and Fredonia KS, unnamed area KS, Albany NY, Victoria BC, Madison IN, Carthage IL, Kansas City MO.
Also, photo and memorial card card of a Jay Blume, who died August 5, 1892; age 9 mo, 13 days, portrait taken by Allen & Rowell Portrait Photographers, 25 Winter St., Boston.
If any of this looks familiar please contact me.
