Susannah Blume/Plume Conrad IN 1800's

I'm trying to unravel one of many mysteries in my family tree. My ancestor, David Conrad was married to Susannah in Harrison County, IN. I find them on the 1850 census and I also find a marriage record for David Conrad/Susannah Plume. David's brother, Valentine was married to Sarah Blume. When I look on earlier census I find Jacob, John and Philip Blume on the 1850 census and John and Philip Plume on the 1840 census.

Can anyone help to verify that this family was Blume? In the cemetery where David and Susannah are buried I'm told there a several Blumes, in fact I have seen a photo of the tombstones for John and Mary Blume.

Always searching answers,

Sherry Quade
