Jeff,
Hello! you would be a cousin of mine through
Martha Baxley who is the mother of John Blume born 1830 Blackville, SC, she is also the mother ( by her second marriage ) of my maternal great grandmother,
Mary Cornelis Nevils who married William Floyd Turner all of Blackville, SCar

John and his brother in law, Willie Turner were both in the Confederate War,
I have papers from SC archives on both,

My Mary Cornelia Nevils died in 1925, and her youngest child is my grandmother, Margaret Jennie Turner who married Noel Padgett in the Blackville Baptist Church, one of her attendants was a Blume cousin who was a triplett "one of three girls" born to C. M. Van Orsdell, Jr and his wife Daisy Blume. He was a well know photo artist.

Do you know the name of Theo Blume Glen's daughter and how I can reach her in Savannah, my grandmother spoke fondly of this cousin Theo, and her daughter would be my cousin,

also where do you live,

I live in Greenwood, SC and we have one daughter, an actress in Hollywood,

my email is trussellmann@emeraldis.com
you could send me a personal message
with the info on Cousin Theo

I will be happy to mail you a copy of the Confederate info on Uncle John Blume,

thank you
Pat Trussell Mann
