Have you ever run onto any old family records where your Faulk was spelled as Fultz, Fults, Folts, Voltz, Volk?
I've found evidence, although I don't have it right in front of me now, that some of the Faulks from Armstrong/Westmoreland Co., Pa., evolved from Fultz/Voltz.
My great-great grandparents were John and Anna Fultz Blystone.
