Sorry i saw you follow up message and thought anything is worth a shot.
This site is bad no listing for the boakes surname oh well i'll have to cheat and use the closest match.ok my family are from enysford in kent but i dont know any of them due to my parents spliting up when i was a baby.i do know my father lives on isle of man now he's name is colin richard Boakes and he's an alchaholic so i cant get any sence from him.
hes father was sidney boakes he's mum was ruth but i dont know her maiden name i think colin has a sister Valerie.Colin married my mother gloria geer 1967.i think colins dad sidney died approx 1955-1960.if you can help please do thanks Steven Boakes.Also do you know what the name boakes means?
