I have info on Laura J. Boak, b. 5/16/1859 in Miami County, Ohio, m. George M. Ralston 2/19/1880 at Troy, Ohio. She was educated in the public schools of Casstown, Ohio. In 1881 they moved west to Granada Township, Nemaha County Kansas. In 1898 they moved to a farm north of Sabetha, Nemaha County, Kansas. Three children: Charles, John, (deceased at the time the bio was written 1900?), and Maude.

"Lottie" Boak, b. 10/14/1875 in Casstown, Miami County, Ohio, d. 3/25/1964 Portland, Oregon. She married Clarence S. Brumbaugh 12/25/1900. The 1900 census has both her parents listed as being born in PA.

I am looking for a connection to Israel G. Hamman and sons Frank G. Hamman, George A. Hamman, Leander Miller Hamman. In Frank's obit it states " Mr. Hamman was a cousin of Mrs. C.S. Brumbaugh and Mrs. Laura Ralston". Israel Hamman was born in Allentown, PA in 1/26/1830 and moved to Castown, Miami County, Ohio at the age of 10.

C. S. Brumbaugh worked for Frank in his Dry Goods store in Sabetha, KS for 14 years. The 1900 census, June 2, has Lottie single and as a saleswoman in Dry Goods Store in Sabetha, KS. She married C.S. 6 months later.
In the 1910 census she is listed as Lort...(looks like lei?)
They have two sons, Herbert, age 8 and Harry, age 4.

Has anyone researching the Boak's family come across the name Hamman? Any tid bit will be welcome.
Should anyone need the sources of the above info please let me know.
Thank you.
