I am looking for information on a Robert & Harriet Boak, from England who settled in Cooksville Ontario in 1850's or thereabouts. So far I've identified 7 children: Mary Ann, Sarah, Ellen, Samuel, Prudence, Minerva and George.
Some seem to have been born in Cornwall (1840's) and the rest in Cooksville. They seem to be related to the York CO. Boakes somehow but I haven't found the common thread althoughh some were witnesses at Cooksville Boak marriages.
I am related to GEorge the youngest who married JAne Morrow from IReland in 1885 in Toronto. Jane seems to have disappeared...any information would be most welcome.
Marilyn
