Jesse C. Boak, b. ~1917 KS d. Jan 1945 PI Jesse listed on 1920 Cenus in Koshkonong, Big Apple Twp, Oregon co., MO Bert E. Boak was his father. Bert born in MO, Jesse's mother was Nette I, b. MO. Jesse Carl Boak's siblings as listed on 1930 census: Norma (9yrs), Nina B. (7yrs), Donald (4yrs), and Mildred (2yrs) Bert E. Boak's parents: William P Boak b. 1863 MO & Mary E. b. 1872. Other children of William P. Boak and Mary E.: Bert E., Ross, Fern, Peach, Irene, Lureen and possibly 2 more. William P. Boak's parents: Wright R. Boak b. 1832 TN & Sephrona J b. 1843. Wright P. Boak's parents: William S. Boak b. 1800 TN/NC? & Rachel Roberts b. 20 May 1807 they were married 10 Jun 18232 in Roane co. NC. Rachel Roberts parents were: Wright Little Roberts b. 1767 NC & Elizabeth Horton. Wright L. Roberts' parents: John Roberts & Susan Magness.

Jesse Carl Boak was married briefly in California, name unk. His family in MO were unaware that on his travels in the Pacific he fathered at least three girls:
Marjorie Veronica Kukua in Nov 1939 in Hawaii. Jesse attempted to return, but Marjorie's mother Betsy's family, ran him off, as Betsy was full Hawaiian. Jesse went to the PI and married a woman and had another daughter, Virgina who was 2yrs at Jesse's death. Virgina's mother was pregnant with another daughter, Dorothy, who was born after Jesse's death. Jesse's family in MO were not aware of his children at the time of his death. Jesse's WWII records were lost in the fire which destroyed many WWII records in the 1970s.

However, Jesse Carl Boak died a 2LT in the US Army, and was awarded two purple hearts, a silver star and a bronze star for his military service. He is listed on a wall in the American Cemetery in Manila, PI.

Only known grandchildren of Jesse Carl Boak: Erwin Boak Santiago, Cinthia Lani Ann Norman, Denise M. Inouye, Edwina V. Fujimoto, Bryan A. Fujimoto, Greg M. Kalua.
