Sorry, I don't think there's a connection. I don't have alot of information about my family history, but as far as I know my great-grandparents only lived in Pittsburg for about 10 years(around 1895-1905?). After my great-grandfather died the family moved back to England (Newcastle area). I wish I knew more! My mother was very interested in the Boak family history and had alot of informtion which I wish I had written down as she recently passed away. No one else seems to remember anything, sorry.
