BOAS in NY State originally from Ireland
Posted by: Ryan A. Boas Date: July 14, 2000 at 15:40:24

My ancestors were from County Cavan, Ireland. Thomas and Mary Boas immigrated around 1840. They came into NY State through Canada and brought at least one child, Arthur. They settled in Mooers Forks, Clinton County. The name has been changed by a few of their descendants to BOWS and BOSE. That branch mostly lives in MA and NH. Please reply if you have any information on this BOAS family.
