My great grandmother was Anna Bochenek - she came from Poland/Austria in 1909 and I believe she first settled in Passaic before moving to Carteret. She married John Dobrowolski also from Poland/Austria. I just started researching the Bochenek name because most that came from Poland/Austria/Galacia changed to Bohanek to 'americanize' the name. The only reason I replied to you is that I know Anna had at least one brother named Michael who also came to New Jersey. I think there was more siblings but I am in the beginning phases of this part of my family tree. Let me know what you think.
