Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My great grandfather was Maik Bochenek, changed to Michael Bohenek. He worked and died in the coal mine region of Northeastern PA near Scranton. I am a 3rd generation Bohenek. My grandfather was John Bohenek, and his son (my father) is Thomas Bohenek. I do not know many Boheneks besides my own family tree, although ironically there is another Jason Bohenek (same a me) living in the area. Apparently unrelated? I doubt it.

My great grandfather was married to a Mary or Marie. My grandfather was married to a Veronica Banfi.
