Andreas (later Andrew) Bock b. Sinsiz, Germany 1830,
came with his father, brother, & sister Mary (she married Matson)
The ship may have been the Schickstal from Bremen. He was a tailor
by trade & was in or around Vicksbury during the Civil War. Later,
he & his wife, Elizabeth Deschinger, went to Galveston, TX.
They had 15 children, seven of who lived and had families. Any info
on these folks or their decendants? There were 2 sons - Andrew
& John Edward ( born in 1886).
