Mickey...
I noticed your info didn't include a last name for Elijah's first wife, Jane.
My research shows she was Jane Hooser (or Houser), daughter of Rudolph Hooser. That would explain where his son, Rudolph, got his name.I don't have much on the Hooser family, but I am willing to share.I am a descendant of Jane's sister, Lydia (Hooser) Sperry, wife of Samuel Sperry.
My Bocook connection is not direct, but my ancestor, John Bryan Sr.(c1771-1867), married Elijah's sister, Morenan Bocook (b. c1800 VA) on 2 January 1828 in Lawrence Co., KY.I had originally thought her name was Mourning or even Maureen, but I've at least two different deeds where it was spelled Morenan.
I'm descended from John through his previous marriage, but I do know that John & Morenan had at least one daughter:Rhoda (b. c1829 Lawrence KY).
Rhoda may have married Logan Tomlin (b. c1823 Va, son of Isom Tomlin of NC) in 1848 in Lawrence Co., KY (a license was filed, but apparently never recorded). In 1850, she was living with her parents and Logan was living with his family seven doors away.In 1880 Lawrence Co., KY, she was listed as divorced, living alone as a farmer.
I gathered a little info on Bocooks just to flesh out my history for this family... It's not much, but I would appreciate any pertinent info and corrections you can provide.

William W. Bocock (b. c1766-1784 - d. before 1840 KY) moved from Franklin Co., VA to Greenup Co., KY between 1810-1820.The 1799 Franklin Co., VA tax list showed William, John & Mathew Bocock, as well as a "John Bryant."(A "John Bryant" was present in 1788 as well, but no Bococks at that time.I doubt this is John Bryan Sr.)
In 1810, William had a wife (Rhoda Colley) and six children, three boys and three girls, all under 10.Possible children include:
Morenan (b. c1800 VA md. John Bryan Sr. 1828)
Elijah (b. c1804 VA md. Jane Hooser before 1828, dau of Rudolph, bro. of Lydia Sperry)
W. I. (b. c1805 VA md. E. A. ____ c1835)
Elizabeth (b. c180_ md. John Canterbury before 1827)
John (b. c1808-1810 md. Susan Bryan 1830, daughter of John Bryan Sr.)
Andrew (b. c1814 md. Sarah Robert 1835).
Also, possibly William (b. c1819 VA md. Sarah Sperry 1838).
Other historical info:
The name Bocock, derived from the French 'Beaucocke", is found in Maryland & Virginia records from 1642.A variety of spellings, Bowcocke, Bocook(e) and Boocock are found from 1642 to 1679. Used less frequently are Boococke, Bucock, Bukock and Boughcock. By 1720 the spelling became either Bocock or Bowcock(e). The Bococks began in Westmoreland, Essex, Caroline and York Co., Virginia. Researchers have been unable to establish a connection between these Bococks and Salem Bocock. Henry Bowcocke is purported to be the father of Salem, but there is no proof.
Salem BOCOCK (chr. "SAMel" or Samuel 21 April 1706 Whitgift, Yorkshire ENG - d. c1776 Bedford VA) married Susannah Bow (c1720-bef 1757) c1740, moved to Virginia (possibly Louisa Co. first) and had:Jason (on 1800 census for Albemarle VA), Samuel, Judith (b. c1740-1745, m. Thomas Garth of England c1761, d. 1 Feb 1806 Albemarle VA), Elijah (1754-1823 Highland OH, did not have a son William W.), John (may have been born in England c1741, m. Judith Thomas) and Mary Mildred (b c1740, m. Henry Shelton c1758 VA).
