I do not know if my ancestors were Cornish or not, but I believe that my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, Omar Boden, was born in Burlington, New Jersey in 1766.He married Sarah Bloomfield, who reportedly was related to a governor of NJ, presumably Joseph Bloomfield. They eventually lived in Cooperstown, NY, where they are buried (Christ Church cemetery, River Street, Cooperstown). The Burlington Historic Society could not tell us where Omar or his family may have come from, they assumed German or English.Omar's dates are b. 1766, d. 1844.
I also am seeing another Omar Boden in Tennessee, who I think may be related, possibly a son, but I have no hard info yet.
Thx.,
BGB
