Mark this is Frank from Kentucky who you have heled before with the James Bodkin Kentucky Connection. What can you tell us about the Lancaster Pa. connection? I have seen very early Bodkin's in Maryland before 1650 that someone said maybe descended from the pirate in the family. There is a Bodkin's Cove out from Glen Burne Mayland I have been there (1979) and the locals told me it was a pirates cove. I did come across the name Frank or Franklin Bodkin as the Irish pirate, but I do not know anything more. Anyone know anything about the Bodkin Pirate, please email me or respond on the list.
