Hello Linda,
I am not a descendant of Robert Bodkin,but I have come across his name frequently on the quest to find my G,g,g,g,grandfather Roger DOUBT. George Anderson,Robert Bodkin and Roger Doubt are all on the 1776 census of Harford County.Roger's name is spelled Daubt on that census.Robert's son William is a witness on a document that I have a copy of concerning a bill of sale between Roger and George.The bill is for the sale of livestock from Roger to George in 1789.What I'm wondering is if you have come across Roger's name at all in tracing the Bodkin lineage?His wife or companion's name was Margrett. The children were,Robert,Samuel,Polly(Mary?),Jane and William.Hoping to hear from you.
