I have researched the Bodkin family for sometime now.
My family of Bodkin, (that I found) were in North Carolina.
John Bodkin was there at the age of two, he was born in Ireland in 1788. I don't know how he came to American. He was not listed with his father, I would love to exchange info and ideas with you.
My Bodkin's later moved to Gibson County Tennessee I found them there in 1830. My John Bodkin died in 1862.
I would love to know who his parents were. I think he was from the 14 tribes in Galway.
Thanks a lot.
Joyce and Charley Clark
