Thank you for your reply, it was very exciting to get your answer.
I agree with you. Here is what I have. Robert Bodkin immigrated to the USin the 1700s to Phila. Went to MD and then to North Carolina. He is the Father of William S. William S. is the father of John . I think they all came from Roscommon in Ireland. I hope that is spelled correctly.
John is the father of Hugh Bodkin, Hugh is the father of my grandfather William Albert Bodkin, her married Almeda Welch in Dec. of 1894. William died in 1905. I do not have the names of the wives of Richard or William.
I would enjoy hearing from you again. I am trying to connect with the Welch side now. I have hit a HARD BRICK WALL.
