Do you know what County in Kentucky your Delilah moved from or Adam Cobb lived in? This would help you considerably narrow the gap of who your connection is with. The Kentucky Census records would likely at least list Adam Cobb. I think it is highly likely that your Delilah is a grandaughter of James Bodkin, wife Delilah. My research says James and Delilah and their children lived in Rockbridge County Virginia before coming to Kentucky. James is a son of Richard of Bull Pasture whose line is fairly well known with many connections to the Ohio Botkin family. All of James Bodkin descendants that I know of use the original spelling with the "d". My ancestor, James son Thomas lived in Henry County Kentucky (one county over from his brother William in Harrison County, KY). Many of Thomas family line also lived in Shelby County Kentucky. The census records are probably your best shot at making a connection.
