The Thomas Bodkin of Rockbridge County had several sons whose marriages are all in the marriage records of that county. The sons are Daniel, Charles, Thomas and Benjamin recalling off the top of my head. Charles married Poly about 1820 as I recall they are my great great grandparents. The family moved to Henry and Shelby County Kentucky, Poly has a tombstone I have seen there. I have connections to both the Charles and Thomas Jr. lines. I believe that Thomas Senior is a son of James and Delilah Bodkin who moved to Clark County KY and whose will lists Thomas as a son. James is a son of Richard of Bullpasture whos most of the Virginia and Ohio Bodkin and Botkin clan traces to.
