Your William Bodkin was the son of William Bodkin, Sr., and his 1st wife (if memory serves me), his cousin Eupheme Bodkin. William Sr's 2nd wife was Mrs. Catharine Smith Zeumwaltz, also of Harrison Co. They married when William was about 70 years old but nevertheless had two daughters. The first was my gr-gr-grandmother Catharine Bodkin, who married Tarleton Jones Taylor of Owen Co. KY and came to TX about 1767.
It would be a great pleasure to get in touch with some of William Sr's first set of children. William's father was Richard Bodkin, and his father was Richard Bodkin.
I have not currently been working on this family so do not have all those records handy but would be delighted to hear from you and share descendants.
