Try Terry Bava <terry_bava@yahoo.com> he has
more on this James Jr. and Margaret than anyone I know. My Charles Botkin 1738-1820 had a first wife (unknown) with which he had at least two daughters one of which was named Margaret and she married James Jr. son of Charles brother James Sr. There is no confirmed proof that "this" James (Jr.) and Margaret are them but it sure looks suspicious. Since this is not my direct line I haven't done much work on it. Terry thinks he may descend from them so check in with him. Please let me know what you find. I'd really like to know if anything turns up to prove who Margaret's parents are.

Hope this helps.

Mark Allen
