I may have some information on William Bodkin. This information comes from a book in the Warsaw Indiana library. William Bodkin, farmer, section 32, Wayne Township, was born in Kent County, England in 1831, son of Potter and Mary Bodkin. He remained in his native land until he reached his twenty-eighth year, hwen, with his brother Henry, he took passage on the American Eagle, at London, landing at New York City. He came directly to this county and has remained here ever since. February 11, 1869, he was married to Ellen Dunifron, of Ohio. They have two children - Thomas, born August 1, 1881, and Elmer, born October 1, 1883. He owns eighty acrees of improved land. Politically he affiliates with the Democratic party.
In the same family there is also a William Bodkin that was born in 1839.
I have more information on Williams brother, Henry Bodkin. Let me know.
