Immigrated--Emmigrated early in life with two sisters nad two brothers in St. Louis,MO Marriage: In St. Joseph MO . met Charles Striegel during 1858--Maried at Sioux City,IA 10-25-1860 Lived in Sioux City,IA while Charles served in Union Army Settled: Elizabeth and Charles on farm near LeMars IA staying there 3 years(During Grasshopper Infestation) Next they moved to Lexars,IA--and than Tomah,WI Monroe County in 1915 with her husband Charles Date of Death---Feb.7,1917 Tomah,WI. Children--George Stiegel of LaMars,IA, Charles W. Striegal,Sioux City,Ia and Mrs. F.W.Hahn of Tomah ,WI. Survivors: name is Fred Boegel or Bocgel of Oakland CA. Funeral Services were held at residence at 9:45 and the Catholic Church at 10:00 Friday morning. Need to find Charles date of birth and death. The Thank You note says:Card of Thanks -We wish to thank the many friends who assiste dus during the illness and at the funeral of our mother. Geo Striegel,Chas Striegel and Mrs.F.W.Hahn. Only children mentioned.
