Hi Marc in Germany. How did you find my posting?
Of course, our my husbands ancestor, William Mutert, did come from Germany (Osnabruk). He was born Feb 25, 1849. So I wouldn't immagine it would be to difficult to look him up. Are you familiar with ?Osnabruk? I have to verify my info on the Muterts here in the states. A letter was sent to me about the first Mutert family from a Cathy Schmidt in Chicago, IL. I have no knowledge of her sources. Will try to research some over the winter.
