My grandfather, Carl Boehm aka John Carl Boehme, was born in Rogau Ober-Schlesien. Would this be in your region. My ggrandfather, Franz,came to Texas in the early 1850's when my grandfather was a very small child. Unfortunately, before I became interested in genealogy all of the older members of the family were deceased. If you think there might be a connection, would like to hear from you.
