Dear Lawrence

We "spoke" a long time ago on the Boteler forum! Edgar Collins Boehm is one of my ancestors. His father was the famous Victorian sculptor Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm and his mother was Frances Louisa Boteler (cousin of my great great grandmother Ellen Boteler). Edgar, born in 1869, changed his name to Boteler in 1918 ten years before his death. I'm guessing because the name Boehm was too "European" sounding. It can't have been because of a falling out with his father because he'd died some 30 years earlier. I have a lot of info on the family if you are interested.

Regards,

Jackie
