Page 6 of 68 of the Descendants of Jacob Boehm notes a Grafton "Arthelius" Foster born about 1844. I am named, via my father, for my great-grand father, Arthelius Augustus Phaup (1839-1912). He lived and farmed in Chesterfield Co., Va., and served in the Confederate Army. My desire is to determine the origin or meaning of the name... "Arthelius". Any help or insight would be appreciated.
