Samuel Boehm was married to Elizabeth Funk, daughter of Jacob Funk of near Strasburg. After this attack the families went back to Pennsylvania for a while and Samuel did not return to the Page County area but instead took up land just west of Strasburg where he lived the rest of his life. His older children married into Massanutten famiies. Daughter Magdalena married Abraham Hiestand, son Jacob married Mary Burner, daughter of Jacob Burner (another signatory to the 1758 letter). There is a fairly good write up on Samuel and some of his children in my book "From the Rhine to the Shenandoah" (Funk chapter). published in 1971.
