Hi Helen,

It was terrific to get an almost instant response after such a long break since the thread was started.

As I thought your Moulden/Boisen background is doubly interesting & in more ways than you may realize.

I had begun researching the Moulden side of my family but am discovering that the Moulden name is not as easy to trace as my other family lines. I can't even tell if Mouldens are English, Irish or Scots (am guessing English from the mid to southern counties).

I did notice there were quite a few Mouldens in NZ in a recent scan of the NZ BDM Archives.

Anyway, in regard to the Boisen line, your grandfather and my grandmother were 1/2 brother & sister. They knew each other very well. This has been quite an amazing discovery for me.
