Dear Helen,,,sorry for Jens Petersen Boisen"s parents -photocopies of old documents infer (not much better than) that his father's givename may have been similar to Pearce, that he was a mason by trade and his mother's name was similar to Anna Christina/e/u(?)...Jens Peter Jens, or Yentze was born 20.11.1846 and believed to have sisters,Dagm(n?)a and Loise... called one of his son's Peter Olsen who was also called Olaf.. Jens ran away to sea 1863 and disembarked in Melbourne Australia on U.S.Ship 'PENDLETON' 11/1870 so he may have spent some time in America....
Good Luck... best wishes.... Don
