I don't know whether I have anything or not since I've never tried to trace the Smith family; however, I think it almost certain that both the Smiths and Fletchers intermarried with with the Boisseaus or with Boisseau decendants and I think there were three intermarriages with the Jones family. The pattern of marrying cousins continues among their Harrison descendants.

I'll try to get a copy of Fletcher's genealogy at the Linrary and see whether anything there connects with and augments what I already have.

If you can prove descent from Holmes Boisseau, then you are eligible for the Jamestowne Society as a descendant of the Rev. James Boisseau. I proved the line for a Harrison cousin in 2006, using land records and surviving court records, and I did mention and document the probable Smith and Fletcher connections in that application.

If I find anything that will help you, I will let you know.

Lindsey
