New Orleans Boisseaus

Catherine,

Wish I could help you out on Guillermo, but I can't. I am however also descended from the New Orleans Boisseaus!

Right now the best I can do is go back to Eugene Boisseau born in New Orleans abt. 1832. Census records say that both his parents were from France, one however says that his mother was from Jersey Island. Unfortuately I do not know their names.

Eugene was married twice. First to Isabella E. Garcia, with whom he had a daughter named Eugenia Boisseau. Later he married Rosa Taylor with whom he had the following:

Stephen Eugene Boisseau b. 1880 (my grandfather)
Adelaide May Boisseau b. 1884
Benjamin Franklin Boisseau b. 1893
Lorella Eugenia Boisseau b. 1895

Anyway, I don't know if we had communicated before. It seemed wise top at least make contact with you. Perhaps we can be on the look out for each others lines.

Thanks,
Tom
