Looking for descendants of Jean Boissy and Marie Gourmaux. Their son Julien was born in 1643 in Ste. Croix, Bourg de Lege, Lucon, Poitou, France. Julien immigrated to New France--Quebec before October 26, 1671, where he married Marie Francoise Grossjambe. He died in Quebec on September 9, 1723. The Boissys lived in Montreal. Descendant Amable Boisy, 1792, came from Montreal, perhaps St. Philippe, to Plattsburgh, Clinton , NY after 1830. He died there in 1860. Amable married Catherine Galand, 1788-1871.
