Mrs. Charles Boldman
Mrs. Martha Leona Boldman, 62, wife of Charles Boldman of Rushtown Rt. 1, died at 12:10 pm Saturday at her home after an illness of nine months.
She was born at Morgan Township May 18, 1895, to Graham and Sarah Crabtree Strickland.She was married to Mr. Boldman Dec. 2, 1915.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, who lives at Rushtown Rt. 1; three daughters, Catherine, at home; Mrs. Helen Wamsley and Mrs. Marilyn Cox of Otway; four sons. Paul at home, Ray of McDermott and Harold and Charles Jr. of Rushtown Rt. 1; five brothers, Noah of Sciotoville, Lowell of Careys Run, Orville of Lucasville Rt. 1 and Roy and Jasper of Rushtown Rt. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Shelpman of Lucasville Rt. 1 and Mrs. Pearl Cunningham of Rushtown Rt. 1; two half-brothers, Clayton McFann of McDermott and Floyd McFann of Dayton; a half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Salyers of Portsmouth, and nine grandchildren.
Her father, a daughter, a brother and two half-brothers preceded her in death.
She was member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in McDermott, where services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday by Rev. C. E. Beatty.Friends may call at the residence.Burial will be in Rushtown Cemetery, directed by McKinley Funeral Home.
