Phil, I may be able to help some. There was
a Frederick Boldman who married a Phebe Hodges in Scioto Co., Ohio on August 30, 1834. They may have lived in Pike Co. Ohio for a while. I received some information from
New York quite some time ago.
Here is what I have. John Boldman and Lena
VanDeusen wee married July 22, 1762. 1790 Census in New York listed in the home of John
and Lena, 3 males 16 and over. 3 females.
James Boldman Sr. b. abt. 1796 and married
Elizabeth Lewis, daughter of Frederick Lewis
and Rachel Hoover or Hover. The following children were listed on this paper. David
Boldman b. 1809 in Nile Twp. Scioto Co., Ohio
Peter Boldman b. 1803, Frederick Boldman b.
abt. 1799 in New York, and John b. abt. 1820.
Three daughter's were listed but do not know
names yet. This could be your Frederick and
if so, he must have been brother to James Sr.
I have a little more but not really much on
Frederick. Prob. was in Scioto Co. until he
went to Ill. Did he have a wife in Ill.? and
if so, do you know who his children were if he had any.? Let me know what you think. Marge.
