Alabama Boman Family
Posted by: Mary Llewellyn (ID *****1880) Date: May 16, 2003 at 15:12:15

I have Lorenzo (possibly D or Dow) Boman, a blacksmith.
He was living in Jackson co., Alabama prior to the Civil War.
One of his daughters was Frances Barilla Boman who married James Madison Allen.
I am looking for the name of his wife and other children.
I have found a Lorenzo Boman and an Isaac Boman fighting for the Union with the Alabama Regm't. They are the right ages to be my Lorenzo and his eldest son, whose initials are right to be the Isaac. Does anyone have any information on this family. Frances Boman was a Cherokee (considered 1/2 indian by her children).
