Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I am related to elizabeth by being Lydia's 3rd generation great grandson. Lydia Margaret whaley is Elizabeth & Abner's daughter. Lydia married William Madison Rose. If you are interested in this line check out my family tree at www.rootsweb.com. click on family trees and type PETVET6 in the tree field. Then you can see all the info I have on the Whaley line, which is not much. I did find a picture of an Abner Whaley on an old infantry page at http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Barracks/3727/index.htm. Click on the musket?? hill and you'll see what i mean.

If you think I can help reply by email petvet6@cox.net
