I am interested in your post and may have something interesting.
My family started in kentucky and ended up in Texas. my grandparents are buried ib Belew cemetery...TGhey spelled their name Bonar ...but I know that part of the family spelled their name boner. My grandmother moved from the family home in Aubrey into ahome she inherited from a Boner...He was a country doctor and a terrible driver...The one car garage had a turntable in it so he could push the car around and not have to back up...
I saw it when I was a child...It was locked in place because cars had changed considerably and were too large to be turned around. There was another relative named Boner in west Texas who was quite land wealthy...He was one of the first to install irrigation!
