Isacc Bonilla was my Grandfaters first cousin, his real name was Inocente Bonilla, my Grand Father was Luis Bonilla, my Great Grand Father was Balasario Bonilla and my Great, Great GrandFather was Don Mariano Bonilla. The Family Crest belongs to the Family of Don Mariano, whio was sent by the Spanish Crown to oversee three Missions, San Luis. San Miguel, and Mission San Antonio. Don Mariano had several sons. The Family tree is in the books written by Inocente. I have copies given to me by him. He went all the way back to the Archives of Spain to trace the Bonilla family. The Family Crest is in the book. I am begining work on our family tree. If you can trace your family name back to Don Mariano the Crest is part of your family heritage. I will issue a copy of the crest only upon positive proof of lineage. My Grand Father was Married to Clara De La Guerra of the Noriega y De La Guerra family.
