I have no information on Michael's family in Germany prior to coming to the US in. He was born July 17th, 1740 in Wittenburg Germany. Name was originally BUCH. He and Barbara had 8 children, Mary, David, John, Catherine, Samuel, Jacob and George. My family comes from David and Catherine Hoak, their son David and Anna Howery, their son Elias and Elizabeth Lindeman, their son Henry and Malinda Tarner their son John Wesley and Lula Thompson and their son Ivan Joseph and my mother Joyce Ashcraft. There are no more Books in my direct line. Kim
