Hi Dale,
So nice to find you. It is such a rare occaision that I find another BOOK researcher in Missouri! I don't see a connection now,but would like to share with you what I have. Here is some basic information on my family:
(please note there are more siblings, but I do not have access to the papers right now):
ENGELBERT BOOK b.1/24/1839 d.2/7/1916 m. to
ANNA THEKLA TOBIN b.8/6/1850 d. 5/9/1933.
Children:
ANNA MARIE BOOK b.4/10/1882 m. 11/24/1903 to
SAMUEL E. GUTZMANN b.11/20/1885
BARNEY BOOK (nickname only known) m. ETTA__.
Engelbert Book was a dairyman in St. Louis, MO. in 1890 and in the 1870 St. Louis census he lists his place of birth as Hanover.
