Charity who married William Kelly in Ancaster was NOT Charity Book she was Charity Vansickle the daughter of david vansickle and margaret book She was born i808 and died 1899.She is listyed in the booklet about the book family cemetery but her tombstone cannot be found although the stone for William Kelly is there very large and very close to the stone of margaret book. There is a small broken very worn stone beside the kelly stone that may be hers.I am a descendant of Charity and William and have managed to prove her lineage to David and Margaret.
Point of interest also...Book family did not qualify as Loyalists as they came to the Us after the American Revolution. However John Book did then come to Canada West before 1800 and is one of the first 20 to settle the Ancaster area.
