Mike, thanks for the information.I have been to the Blue Ridge Cemetery and also the Snowhill Cemetery and took lots of pictures.Israel Boren who is buried in the Blue Ridge Cemetery is my Husband's GG Grandfather, and Washington, Israel's son is my Husband's Grandfather.Washington had only one son, Charles Morgan, my Husband's Grandfather. There are lots of wrong information about Washington Boren, Israel's son because there were two Washingtons in the area at the same time.I have proof that our Washington married only once and had only one child.Washington was killed in a bar, but not in 1879, because he, his wife Mary Olivia(McCarley)Boren and Charles Boren are listed in the 1880 Census for Callahan Co. Texas. He is listed as a cattle raiser. So he was killed sometime after 1880. Word of mouth family history is that he was killed about the time his son Charles was 16 years old making it 1881 or 1882.If you would like more I will be happy to give it to you.By the was Israel is mentioned in the book "Murder at the Corners".Bettye Carnahan.
