Following is info on which brothers and sister who arrived in USA in late 1830s & early 1840s.
I wish I knew the actual arrival dates of some but don't have it.

Children of Johann Heinrich Borgmann & Alheid Hallerman who came over:

Johann Gerd Henrich (John Garret Henry) Borgman arrived in 1837*.

Johann Nicolaus (J. Nicholas) Borgman arrived in 1839*.

*Dates are listed in 1927 edition of Borgman Family History pamphlet.

Children of Johann Heinrich Borgmann & Maria Gertrud Griese (Greaser):

Herman Heinrich (Henry) Borgmann arrived??*

Johann Heinrich (Harman?) Borgman arrived??*

Johann Diederich (John??) Borgman arrived??

There is a real question about who is who on the last three STEPbrothers. Henry, Harman &
John are listed in the book. It's just my guesstimate as to which name goes with each.

Catherina Margaretha Borgmann (later became Sister Walburga) arrived??

There were in the 2nd family 2 each of Johann Heinrich and Catharina Margaretha. The earlier
ones died and later children were given same names (seems to have been a common practice)!

Hope this clarifies some of the questions about the emigrants.

Should you have any firm info on any of this questionable material, PLEASE let me know.

I'm at lhtims@erols.com

So long for now Lou Smith
