My husband is a Borgmann. His family came to Cincinnati, Ohio from we believe Meppen, Germany in about 1880. From Cincinnati, the family moved to Butte, Nebraska in the morth central part of the state. Tom's grandfather was Henry Borgmann who moved to Northeastern Nebraska where he married Elizabeth Becker and raised his family by farming. He had a brother, Ben Borgmann who moved to Clearfield, South Dakota. Their father was Albert Borgmann. It is believed that their mother's maiden name was Schlesinger also born in Germany and migrated to the states as a Borgmann. Albert had at least one brother and perhaps another in Cincinnati. We are very interested in any information on the Borgmanns in Cincinnati, Ohio.
