Charles L. Bork, a former resident of Chatsworth, died at his home in Macon, Missouri, December 31 at the age of 63 years, two months and three days.
The body was brought to Chatsworth and taken to the home of his brother, Henry. Funeral services were held at 10:30 Saturday forenoon by Rev. August Rettberg, after which the body was buried in the Chatsworth cemetery. He was a native of Germany and had never married. He leaved five brothers, two half-brothers and two half-sisters besides a large number of nieces and nephews. His brother, August, accompanied the body here from Missouri.
Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Miss Tillie Bork, of Pontiac; Mrs. B.R. Gravel, Goodland, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bork, of Thawville; George Weber, of Roberts; William Bramman, of Piper City and Mrs. C.G. Thorpe, of Cullom.
